Vampires

There are probably more "living" vampires today than

at any other time in history. Their very nature is so

different from that of ordinary humans that vampires

generally consider themselves to be non-human.

Contrary to popular belief, vampires aren't made,

they're born with the soul of a vampire and usually

turned by another vampire at some point in their life.

The truth is, many vampires often don't know what they

are, until another "self-aware" vampire turns them,

releasing their darkside and true-selves.

Humans, unaware of vampiric traits are usually

mystified and bewildered by their nature and often

accused them of being strange, emotionally distant and

brooding. They're solemn nature is usually mistaken for

depression or anguish. Vampires often seem to be

lonely and isolated, but the truth is that no vampire is

completely alone.

While Vampires are predators, they're not usually

malevolent ones. They do hunt and prey on humans,

willing and sometimes the un-willing, to feed on the

energy from their life-force in it's many forms, but the

prey is usually not harmed and never killed in today's

society.
